King County Library Bookmobile Visits

We were so privileged to have the librarians from the King County Library come to visit us.

Principal Ficken introduces the librarians.

This is Ms. B!

We were treated to three great stories.

This is the really cool Bookmobile.

We got to go inside!

Isn't it fabulous?

The librarians had to go to school to learn how to drive this big rig.

These are the genrous donors that made this program possible.

There are three bigger Bookmobiles than this one. This is the Bookmobile that is used for demonstrations like this one. The Bookmobile goes to parks, retirement homes, senior citizen homes, and other locations to make checking out books easier on its patrons.

The students were given KCLS library cards and information on how to get the card activated. They will need their adult to take them to the nearest library to get it activated. The students were truly excited for this fine piece of jewelry.

A big thanks goes to our friends of the public library. Aren't we lucky?
